On June 21, 2021, the Ahti storm overthrew a giant Berlin poplar tree growing on Lohipadoniemi in Raati with its roots. A year later, the fallen poplar was carved into a work of art by the artist Ville Tanhuala. The topic of the work is the dialogue between nature and urban life, with the addition of Oulu's cultural identity and history. Woodworking was done using different carving tools. The work is estimated to last in place for several years. The work is illuminated with LED lights.
