Pay attention to the "hidden" art nearby

Your own neighborhood can quickly become too familiar. The fine details of the local environment are sometimes even too close to pay more attention to. For example, a work or shopping trip is often taken on the same route several times a week, and in the middle of everyday life, you might not even think about stopping to enjoy the cultural offerings of the surrounding area.

This street art tour goes around the Kuusisaari event park in beautiful river scenery. Along the easily accessible route, there are several transformer booths painted by Salla Ikonen and Maver. The route belongs to the collection of street art routes planned in the DigiCult project, which have been put together together with the city's General Cultural Services and the Oulu Street Art Association.
