This memorial is located at Uusitalo by Tauriaisentie road in Lämsänkylä. The stone erected by the act of Lämsä-Kemilän kylätoimikunta was unveiled in 1990.
In the vicinity of the eastern border the village of Lämsänkylä suffered the visits of the partisans multiple times in 1942-1943. In the summer of 1942 from the meadows at Virmajoki in Tammela, the Tammela brothers disappeared, whom were later declared dead. Uusitalo was attacked by an enemy patrol in the summer of 1943, which killed six residents of the farm and the enemy took the landlord with them. Ville Määttä, who was on a haymaking break from the front was never found. Later he was declared dead.
Additionally the partisans took all the grocery items and two cows from the farm. A Finnish patrol was sent to chase the enemy, but they were never caught. After the attacks, the residents of the village were moved farther from the border to Särkelä, Niskala and Kortesalmi.
