Havula Museum

The museum is open every day from midsummer to mid-August. You can book a guided tour outside of the regular opening hours as well.

The Havula museum has closed from summer 2025. See you again next year!

The art nouveau styled mansion Havula was built in 1912 by the CEO of the local sawmill, Oskari Santaholma. Havula worked as the home for Oskari’s family, and it is a well-preserved example of the wealthy lifestyle of the 1910-1930s period.

Havula still has its original and authentic look, furniture, and decor in the interior.

The Travel Guides of Kalajoki organize guided tours inside the mansion every day during summer. If you want to have a guided tour outside of the regular opening hours, you can contact the guides and book yourself a private tour.
